we call her bean
we've always called her bean
since she was the size of a bean and i was the beanpod
now we use beanie or beans or beans-beans
my mom hates it
but its stuck
she has a new habit
she loves to try and lick everything that gets near her face
she can't quite meaningfully grab anything
but if it comes near to her she opens her mouth like a little bird and hunts it down
her shirt collar is always soaked
actually the whole front of whatever she has on is always soaked
it's adorable
