this is bean pre-bath
why is she taking a bath? you ask
well...
picture edvard munch's the scream.
that was my face
when i saw her diaper.
you know it is going to be bad when you can see the poop on the outside of the diaper.
it somehow comes out of the diaper and onto the front without touching her skin.
the color: green
the smell: putrescence
i gagged. a few times.
chris held her legs and i went in for the clean-up
and then he lost one of her legs
and it came down right into the center of the diaper.
in the concentrated poop zone.
and bean laughed and laughed.
poop is funny.

Yes.
Rylie loves to reach 'down there' now and 'help' me wipe... or itch or whatever she's got to do. It's terrible.
I'm not kidding when I say sometimes I just set her in the tub with all her clothes on and start from there. I have a friend who once just CUT OFF THE SHIRT because it was covered and she just didn't know how to get started on the clean up :)

OKay thanks for the instructions how to leave a note- hilarious picture of Bean post-bath. I laugh every time. As Willemin noted, you two are true to yourselves as people and parents- Bean is just another toy/puppet to play with. I am inspired!!
