the inaugural post

procrastination
i have known you for so long
you were there when my wedding pictures were put in boxes "for later"
you were there when my sewing pile grew and grew
you were there when all those presents and cards became ridiculously overdue
of course i was thinking you would be at my side as the years passed and my daughter grew and her life went mostly undocumented
and then i saw my friend erik's blog
i had already been visiting my friend katie's blogs for a while and loving every minute of that
as a matter of fact i love reading lots of blogs
and that's when i thought...why not me?
i have thought that before but usually that was right before i logged off
i'd start a blog tomorrow
i dont have enough time to write something substantial
i should have started it yesterday
now i've missed too much so what's the point

well i'm done with excuses
i want to throw my hat into the ring
i want my friends and family to be able to see my little one grow and change and to know what i've been up to
(since i am also mostly crap at calling on a regular basis also)
some day i will look back and be impressed with how much i was able to document
and tomorrow i will be really happy that i started today

so here goes...
